DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within the Warehouse function at Chanelle Pharma. We are looking for an individual who will support and drive Chanelle Pharma’s vision to be the most valued global provider of high quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products and to provide excellent services and support to our customers.In this role you will report into Warehouse Managers/Team Leads.Role Hours (Please Note): This role is a full-time, 39-hour role during the summer (June -September), transitioning to 2 x 8-hour weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) during the rest of the year.The warehouse comprises of very different areas of work as per list below and people have different roles within the following areas:
  • Warehouse Administration.
  • Goods Receipt (Raw Materials, 3rd Party, Packaging, Offsite).
  • Sampling (Raw Material and 3rd Party) Applying Approved labels to Raw Materials.
  • Cycle Counting.
  • Picking Work Orders for Manufacturing (Medical, Veterinary and Dispensing).
  • Staging Work Orders for Manufacturing.
  • Material Handling (Pallets to and from Manufacturing).
  • Warehouse drivers (Moving Material between buildings).
  • Put away of Pallets.
  • Shipping Medical and 3rd Party plus Home Veterinary.
Location: Onsite at our Loughrea facility.As a Warehouse Operator, your key responsibilities will be:
  • Ensuring consistent and efficient supply to Manufacturing by handling all materials across the production cycle – from receiving raw materials and packaging to shipping finished goods.
  • Taking ownership of housekeeping throughout the warehouse, adhering to a “clean as you go” approach. Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas, including workstations, desks, racking, and floors.
  • Maintaining legible, accurate, and neat documentation, as much of the work involves paper-based processes.
  • Strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
  • Fostering clear, respectful communication within the team and with other departments, both verbally and in writing.
  • Planning and organising your workload effectively to meet daily priorities and deadlines.
  • Communicating issues with your Team Lead / Manager.
  • Immediately reporting any accidents or incidents to your Team Lead or Manager and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted to the Health & Safety Officer.
Education & Experience:
  • Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel is mandatory.
  • Fork truck / turret truck license is an advantage (training will be provided if not already certified).
  • Previous experience working in a GMP-regulated warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a pharmaceutical cGMP setting, with knowledge of EU GMP and US FDA guidelines is preferred.

  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrates a “right first time” approach with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive attitude toward learning—willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
