We are complemented by our factories in Burnfoot and Derry who supply switchgear/busbar directly.We manufacture complete distribution systems, including MV and LV switchgear, busbar trunking, energy management systems and modular power solutions. You will work closely with a talented team of Mechanical, CSA and Thermal engineers.Investment in a state-of-the-art tin-plating and silver-plating plant has taken Vertivs engineering offering to the next level and we are now hiring a Senior project electrical design engineer to join the team.Position SummaryDesigning and developing modular buildings for customized solutions in accordance with highest standards and demanding requests.Electrical design on projects (Electrical, Fire Alarm and Controls systems) during factory integration in LetterkennyIntegration with other disciplines; architectural, structural, mechanical. Focus on general design, concepts, calculation, etc.ResponsibilitiesCooperation with the design team in the development of CD (construction documentation) setsParticipation with the design team in the selection of LL equipment (distribution, UPS, batteries)Preparation of manufacturing documentationPreparing BoMs for installation material and non-critical equipmentEngineering supervision and support when equipping modules at the factory (Letterkenny)Engineering support to service team and subcontractorsInvolvement during the design stage trough content and constructability review, responsible for providing feedback (comments) into the design community.Collaboration with local service and with the company operations team (project management, quality control, manufacturing, testing team and construction) in defining a project deployment strategy and executing the projectResponsible For
