Natures Best is seeking a skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for ensuring food quality and safety through precise laboratory procedures, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement policies and procedures outlined in the Quality System Manual.
• Handle and prepare food products and environmental samples for testing.
• Perform accurate testing on all samples according to customer specifications.
• Manage the receipt, storage, traceability, and proper disposal of test samples.
• Conduct daily equipment checks before analysis to ensure functionality.
• Prepare and perform quality control on testing media.
• Maintain stock control and order lab supplies as needed.
• Record and sign off on all test results, ensuring accuracy.
• Complete out-of-specification test certificates and release results to the Quality Manager, or the Managing Director in the absence of the Laboratory Manager.
• Uphold high standards of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to prevent cross-contamination.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A scientific qualification.
• Previous experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record test results.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving laboratory processes and technologies.
