The Henry Kenmares newest restaurant is opening May 2025! We are looking for a talented bar person for creating and serving high-quality beverages that enhance the guest experience. A bar person that will ensure that guests receive innovative and expertly crafted drinks, while maintaining the highest standards of service. This role also involves managing the bar inventory, assisting with training junior staff, and as the first point of contact - maintaining a welcoming atmosphere on arrival to the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, mocktails, wine and beverages. Cocktail experience is a huge advantage, but full training will be given. There is a large emphasis on homemade products to suit our cocktail list. The position would definitely suit a career driven bar person with a interest in mixology.

- Ensure the efficient operation of the bar, including organizing ingredients, glassware, and tools, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the bar area.

- Create a welcoming and interactive experience for guests, providing excellent customer service and recommending drinks based on guests preferences.

- Monitor and maintain the bars inventory, ensuring that all ingredients, garnishes, and supplies are well-stocked and fresh. Working with the kitchen team to ensure all our homemade products are stocked and fresh.

- Ensure that all drinks are made according to recipe specifications, with consistent quality and presentation.

- Provide guidance and training to junior staff, ensuring they understand the techniques and standards for drinks preparation and customer service.

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism

- Responsibilities would also included opening and closing procedures, end of day closing of the building.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed termContract length: 12 months

Pay: €12.70-€18.00 per hour
