Support Pharmacist

Job description

We are a long established Local Community Pharmacy, located near the Rialto LUAS stop.

We are looking for a kind, empathetic, Professional Pharmacist, with good teamwork skills. A Pharmacist whom is committed to delivering and maintaining excellent customer care. A Pharmacist with a genuine passion for Community Pharmacy. A Pharmacist whom is able to take on the challenges, that every local pharmacy encounters on a daily basis.

The role will include working, 5 days (total) per week.

Work every second Saturday (9am-1pm).

We are open:

Monday to Fridays: 9am to 6pm

Saturdays: 9am to 1pm

* Closed for lunch 1pm to 2pm every day.

* Open 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.

* Not open on Sundays nor Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers and the general community to help ensure customer loyalty.
• To operate the Dispensary in accordance with all the legal responsibilities, pertaining to the Pharmacy Profession.
• Monitoring stock levels and communicating with suppliers
• Ensure all paper work is accurate and up to date.
• To exercise all aspects of the Law, Ethics, and Codes of Practice, as is guided by the PSI.
• Work with the owners to ensure the store is performing well.
• As well as other day to day duties.
• Actively support the accurate submissions of the end of month Claims to the PCRS.

The successful candidate will work with a dedicated healthcare team (includes one Supervising Pharmacist and 2/3 Pharmacy Technicians) that is focused on supporting each other, to create a harmonious work environment and to deliver excellent patient care to the locality.

• Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the PSI

Education:

• B. Sc. Pharm

Experience:

• Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) (required)

Schedule:

• Work an average of 38 hours per week.
• No late nights nor Sundays.
• No Bank Holidays.
• Work 1 out of every 2 Saturdays (Saturday 9am to 1pm)

Rate depends on experience - Range €35- €45 per hour

• Car Parking is very difficult in our area. Previous employees of Walshs Pharmacy, whom needed to commute to work, via their car, have found this to be a big issue. We are located very near to the Rialto LUAS Stop and the 123 Bus route.
