Early Years Educators

Would you like to be part of a dynamic and loving childcare team ? We are currently looking for Early Years Educator for the following centres:

Terenure- Full time AIM support/ Montessori Teacher

Milltown- Support Teacher for Montessori classrooms

Rathfarnham- Montessori Teacher and Early Years Educator

Daisy Chain Montessori and Childcare have been delivering quality care and education for over 20 years. Many of our staff have been with us since we opened in 2000 which shows the great staff conditions and support in Daisy Chain. We respect our team as being our greatest assets and ensure that they are supported . All our centres have auxiliary staff and domestic staff to ensure our Childcare Educators are room based and spending all their time caring for and educating their children!

Candidates should

  • Have a minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Childcare or the Early Years Sector
  • Have a love and understanding of young children
  • Be knowledgeable in Aistear and Siolta
  • Have good Health and safety awareness
  • Have experience in planning and carrying out age appropriate and stimulating curriculum
  • Understand and follow TUSLA regulations
  • Be naturally warm and respectful towards children and their needs
  • Be able to work within a team as well as work on own initiative

Job Type / Category

Early Years Educator

Candidates will be working in a room alongside another experienced staff member.

The contract is 40 hours a week and is a permanent contract

We close bank holidays and weekends

We close for 2 weeks at Christmas and one week at Easter

Up to 34 days paid leave each year including Bank Holidays

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and energetic
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator
  • Must be good team player and ability to work on own initiative
  • Must have a minimum of FETAC level 5 in Childcare
