The Role As a DevOps Engineer you will support building functional systems that improve customer experience. You will support the deployment of product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with Ruby or Python. Your responsibilities:

• Application deployment, and migration between environments and release.
• Collaborate with organization risk and compliance information security units to keep applications compliant with Citi standards.
• Maintain COB activities and failover activities for the applications within the portfolio.
• Act as point of escalation for service failures, incidents and problems caused by supported technologies.
• Communicate with local vendors, regulators and customer support teams from all over the globe.
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.
• Striving for continuous improvement building continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
• Implement integrations requested by customers.
• Deploy updates and fixes.
• Provide Level 2 technical support.
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Develop scripts to automate visualization.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Bachelor´s Degree with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, System Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment and thorough understanding of the System Development Life Cycle for computerized systems.
• Proven experience supporting applications in banks and good knowledge of clearing and payments domains.
• Hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
• Proficiency in English.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to gain understanding and knowledge of new applications, their technical landscape and their business functions.
• Good understanding of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment and thorough understanding of the System Development Life Cycle for computerized systems
• Technical Expertise in DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Git, Bit Bucket, TeamCity, Udeploy.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Technical Expertise in NET, Java, UniX, Windows.
