Glenform Structures Limited is an RC Frame Contractor and we currently require a Graduate Site Engineer, who is looking to progress their career to join its team. The Engineer will report directly to the Contracts Manager and will work closely with him or her to help drive the project through to successful completion, on time within budget and to the highest standards. Duties include coordinating project documentation as required by contract; assisting with the coordination and scheduling of all on-site activities; documentation of any and all field problems; and ongoing client and subcontractor relations.

Principle Duties & Accountabilities

  • Coordinating Sub-Contractors including maintaining a daily Site Diary detailing manpower levels for each Sub-contractor and keeping accurate notes of all on-site activities;
  • Scheduling daily Work Programmes;
  • Scheduling steel reinforcement and other material requisitions;
  • Attending weekly Management Team meetings
  • Liaising with Quantity Surveyor : re-measurement work
  • Health & Safety Officer : promoting the implementation of Safety Management System

. Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree/Diploma Required
  • Computer literate in computer and database applications such as Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project/Powerproject etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Full Driving License

Salary will be discussed at Interview and will be reflective of the applicants experience within the Construction Industry.
