- Lead monthly obsolescence (reserves) review for all divisions supplied from Cork (PI, PCNA, QTG, FFP, Gamesa and Doehler):
- Compile monthly reports, analyse risk and identify mitigating actions
- Co-ordinate with other departments and teams to ensure mitigating actions are completed and risk avoided
- Lead cross functional monthly meeting with senior stakeholder on risk movements and align with Global controls and Finance on correct monthly booking
- Monitoring and tracking of reserves to budget issued at start of year.
- Ensure control documentation is maintained correctly (SOX control) and meet with external auditors as required
- Complete obsolescence reviews on all reformulations and discontinuations.
- Ensure clear process in place for cross charging utilising the new Power BI tools in place.
- Clear tracking and tracing of cross charge risk to ensure no duplications and mitigations are captured.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and strengthen the process
- Analytical skills for root causing a must.
- Develop Power BI reporting for monthly reserves connect.
- Working closely with Support Centre and manager on reserves-based initiatives.
- Co-ordinate and improve inventory disposals process:
- Run a comprehensive disposals report, compiling data from multiple input files to generate a supply chain waste disposal file.
- Issue and co-ordinate between departments and external warehouses to ensure list is accurate
- Lead and manage the waste contractor relationship to ensure list is closed out in a timely manner
- Drive process improvement leveraging feedback from key stakeholders to ensure inventory is efficiently removed from both Cork sites with focus on aged inventory portfolio.
- Effectively manage any ad hoc disposal requests outside of normal process leveraging existing tools and reviewing for areas of improvement.
- Communicate any issues or delays in disposals to management
- Issue monthly comms to senior stakeholders with view to developing disposals dashboard (Power BI) for ease of reporting.
- Waste disposal budget monitoring and tracking.
- Run and review monthly aged disposal report
- Provide comprehensive review of aged disposals leveraging inputs from other teams eg quality
- Identify any new items which can be added to next disposal listing
- Act as support to Inventory Manager:
- Where required, participate in implementation of core reserves projects
- Help drive identification and development of reserves reduction strategies in conjunction with other departments
- Meet all internal & external compliance responsibilities including GCS, SOX & AIBI
- Develop and maintain GCS documentation and ensure full compliance
- Successfully complete SOX and GCS audits as required
- Experience in use of SAP and MS Excel, Macros, Power BI, Analysis for Office
- Strong supply chain experience in a dynamic multinational organization (desirable)
- Excellent MRP and analytical skills, with a proven ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Be capable of working effectively in a cross functional environment
- Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks, with strong attention to detail
- Results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives
- Ability to work on own initiative to meet timelines
- Excellent Customer Awareness and customer focus
- Third level qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline
- Excellent numerical skills an advantage.
