Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Maguire Mechanical Limited is a well-established HVAC company operating in Ireland since 2010. We specialize in providing high-quality Air Conditioning and Ventilation solutions to our clients. Due to our ongoing growth, we are seeking to add Qualified Air Conditioning Installation Engineers to join our dynamic site installation crews.

Job Title: Qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning EngineerLocation: Greater Dublin AreaJob Type: Full-time, PermanentPay: €23.00-€27.00 per hour (depending on experience)Expected Hours: 39 hours per week

Key Requirements

• Trade Qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Essential). Qualification must be a Solas or Equivalent recognized trade card.
• FGAS Certified ( Essential)
• Minimum of 3+ years post-qualification experience with the installation of a variance of Air Conditioning systems.
• Extensive experience in installing all types of Air Conditioning systems within the Retail and Commercial sectors.
• Proficiency in servicing, maintaining, and commissioning Air Conditioning systems
• These positions are majority installation provisions for clients with minor service element works projects.
• Commitment to delivering excellent installation standards and a keen interest in career progression within a growing company.
• Full, clean driving license

Key Responsibilities

Installation Duties

• Install a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRF/VRV systems.
• Ensure all installations meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with site teams to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.

Service and Maintenance Duties

• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently.
• Perform system checks to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Provide clients with detailed reports on work completed and recommendations for future maintenance.

Commissioning Duties

• Oversee system testing and commissioning.
• Adjust system settings to optimize performance.
• Provide operational training to clients as needed.

General Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety protocols on-site.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and project teams.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Manage tools, equipment, and materials responsibly.
• Assign daily duties to crew Apprentices on team whereby required to ensure to develop and progress such members in line with the company standards.
• Have the ability to meet clients and discuss any queries and carry out client demos on project completion
