We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Pump Operator or someone interested in training in this new skill in to join our team!

The Job:

As a concrete pump operator you will be responsible for driving the pump to and from job sites in a safe and conscientious manner. Once onsite your main function as operator is to control the operation of the pump and the output of concrete by directing the boom.

Main Duties and tasks:

1. Operating Equipment: Safely operate concrete pumping machinery to transport concrete from mixers to the desired location on construction sites.

2. Pre-Operational Checks: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the concrete pump to ensure it is in good working condition before use.

3. Site Coordination: Work closely with site managers and other construction team members to plan and coordinate the delivery of concrete effectively.

4. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on site.

5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues with the equipment during operation to minimize downtime.

6. Record Keeping: Complete and submit vehicle inspection forms, job tickets and accurate time keeping records.

7. Communication: Communicate effectively with the crew and other personnel to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns that may arise.

The Candidate:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be willing to learn and comprehend the operation of a concrete pump as well as some basic mechanics that may be involved in order to keep the pump in good working condition. An operator must also have good customer-relation skills and the ability to problem solve under pressure. They should have good communication skills (English language essential) and enjoy working outdoors. This role requires a physically fit person that has good manual dexterity and the ability to lift and carry pipes and clamps.

Pay: From €38,000.00 per year
