Travel Dept Ops Manager

Key Roles

As a Claims Team Leader, you are responsible for ensuring claim teams reach target , activity monitoring the team and the individual Handler performance ,targets to ensure the teams quality, accuracy and adhering to procedures and SLA’s.

Key responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Reporting Line – Deputy Ops Manger.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day ops of the Claim Handlers.
  • Handling of Technical Cases and Specific Client Claims.
  • Dealing with Clients Queries attending Client Meetings.
  • Provide technical guidance to colleagues on claims handling.
  • Authorisation of Claims for Handlers.
  • Investigate and response to any queries raised by Internal /External in relation Claims.
  • Monitoring of WIP /Completions together with overall work volumes.
  • Ensuring compliance of SLAs and Completion Target.
  • Ensure Colleagues have growth & development Opportunities (Meet with each colleague monthly one to one 30X30 catch up).
  • Carry out Performance Review for Colleagues, provide coaching support.
  • Annual Leave for the team ensuring cover in place.
  • Ensuring colleagues completed – CPD Hours and Mandatory Training Annually, Meet /Exceed Target Annually.

Qualifications/Skills

  • APA
  • Claims Experience
  • Excellent customer service experience and skills
  • Great stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • High level interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills
  • Effective time management
  • Strong organizational and accuracy skills with attention to detail
  • Results/Target /Revenue driven
