Trinity College Dublin- an introduction Post Summary- Trinity College Dublins Security Service is responsible for the management and delivery of all physical security services that support the business of the University across the estate. These services include general security services to person and property, managing security systems and liaison with the emergency services. The service is delivered 24/7, 365 days a year by a blend of experienced in-house Security Officers and external contract partners, here after referred to as the Security Services Team. The service on the City Centre Campus is currently delivered by 4 shift teams. In any given 24-hour period 3 teams are rostered and 1 team is on rest. The Security Superintendent will take responsibility for the supervision and direction of approximately 9 plus Security Officers on their shift and liaise with the Security Services Teams across the estate. The Security Superintendent reporting line is to the Security Operations Manager. Post status: Permanent Hours of Post: 39 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Fortnightly Security Superintendent Salary Scale (€1,616.06 per fortnight) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales.
